With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we remember and celebrate the life of Tami Barber of Texas, whose passing after a courageous, multi-year battle with cancer has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Tami was a radiant soul—someone whose warmth, kindness, and unmistakable smile could light up any room. She had a rare gift for connecting with people, forming genuine friendships wherever life took her. To many, she was not just a friend, but a source of encouragement, strength, and unwavering positivity.

A proud and dedicated member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders alumni community, Tami served as Vice President of the National Football Cheerleaders Alumni division. Her passion for sisterhood, leadership, and service was evident in everything she did. She poured her heart into uplifting others, especially women navigating the challenges of life and health.

Tami was also deeply involved in initiatives that supported and empowered cancer survivors, including You Night Empowering Events and Sisterhood. Through these efforts, she helped create spaces of healing, confidence, and connection for countless individuals. Her involvement with the Bionic Babes Dancers of Hope further reflected her strength and spirit—standing alongside others who shared similar battles, turning pain into purpose through movement and unity.

Even in the face of her own diagnosis, Tami remained a symbol of resilience. She approached her journey with courage, optimism, and grace, participating in clinical trials at MD Anderson Cancer Center in hopes that her fight might help others in the future. Her strength inspired all who followed her journey.

Beyond her advocacy and accomplishments, Tami had a deep love for her pets and ensured they would always be cared for—a reflection of her compassionate heart. She also shared her voice and stories through her podcast, Sideline Rewind, leaving behind moments of joy, laughter, and connection that will continue to resonate.

Tami Barber lived a life rooted in hope, love, and purpose. She reminded those around her to embrace life fully, to support one another, and to find light even in the darkest moments.

Though her passing brings profound grief, her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched.
