Houston, TX – Houston police are actively seeking a suspect following a double shooting at Confessions Bar and Restaurant in Upper Kirby on Wednesday night. The incident occurred along Kirby Drive and Richmond Avenue, leaving two men in their 20s in critical condition at local hospitals.

According to Lt. R. Willkens of the Houston Police Department (HPD), the shooting erupted after an altercation inside the restaurant. “They start having a fist fight… That’s when the shots were fired,” said Willkens. The motive appears linked to an attempted theft of jewelry, but investigators are still confirming details.

The suspected shooter fled the scene, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact HPD’s Major Assaults Division at 713-308-8800.
