Edwin Depaz Maldonado Death, Obituary: Edwin Depaz Maldonado, 19, of Richmond, tragically passed away on the night of March 27, 2026, following a shooting in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood.
Police responded to the intersection of 3rd and Harrison streets around 11:12 p.m., where they found Maldonado suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite immediate first aid and CPR on scene and continued life-saving efforts at the hospital, Maldonado succumbed to injuries, leaving friends and family devastated.
