In Loving Memory of Kasee Allman and Jesse Brock

With profound sadness, we remember Kasee Allman, 21, of Bedford, and Jesse Brock, 35, of Leesville, Indiana, whose lives were tragically lost in a flooding accident in Lawrence County. Their sudden passing has left family, friends, and the community reeling with grief over the heartbreaking loss of two young lives.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, Allman and Brock were reported missing on Sunday after family members were unable to reach them following Saturday evening. The pair was last seen in Paoli, Indiana, and were believed to be traveling to Brock’s home near Leesville.

Authorities determined through cellphone location data that the pair was in the area of Earl Road and Lawrenceport Road at roughly 10 p.m. on Saturday. This section of roadway was heavily flooded near the East Fork of the White River, and with no further location data, investigators feared the two had driven into the floodwaters.

Over the next two days, multiple agencies collaborated to locate the missing pair. Lawrence County deputies, conservation officers, and state police used boats, underwater sonar equipment, drones, and helicopters to search the dangerous floodwaters. The effort was extensive, as much of the roadway was submerged and conditions were hazardous.

On Tuesday morning, the search concluded tragically when conservation officers located the truck Allman and Brock had been traveling in. The vehicle was submerged in approximately 8 feet of water, and both Allman and Brock were found deceased inside. Authorities have confirmed that family members have been notified, and the case has transitioned from a missing persons investigation to a death investigation.

This devastating incident serves as a somber reminder of the dangers posed by floodwaters and the unpredictable forces of nature. At just 21 and 35 years old, Kasee Allman and Jesse Brock were at the prime of their lives, with their futures filled with promise, relationships, and plans that will now never be realized.

Family, friends, and the local community remember them for the joy, kindness, and warmth they brought into the lives of those around them. Their lives, though tragically cut short, had meaning and impact, touching the hearts of family, neighbors, and friends.

The Lawrence County community mourns not only the loss of Kasee and Jesse but also the circumstances surrounding their passing. In times like these, the support of loved ones and community becomes essential, as those grieving seek solace in shared memories and the bonds formed over a lifetime.

Today, we honor the memory of Kasee Allman and Jesse Brock. Though their lives ended far too soon, the love they shared with their families and the memories they leave behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew them.

May Kasee Allman and Jesse Brock rest in peace, and may their loved ones find strength and comfort during this unimaginable time of grief.
